The Youth in Action for Human Rights Awards annually recognize one individual and one group whose work reflects and promotes human rights values.
Winners will receive a $500 cash award, a plaque, and a certificate of
achievement, as well as opportunities to present their work to local and
national audiences. Winners will be also featured on social media, local and
national press, and HRE USA publications.

Who is eligible for the awards?
- The Awards will be made to one individual and one group of young people in high school (grades 9-12) or the equivalent (e.g., older high school students, GED students, not in formal schooling).
- Ineligible: College students and those 21 or older.
- Their principal work should focus on the USA.
